About Bang Tao Beach

Bang Tao is a long, wide bay on Phuket's west coast, home to the Laguna Phuket resorts. It is calmer and more spacious than Patong, with beach clubs, cafés and plenty of room to spread out.

It is a popular base for families and a great sunset spot, only about 25 minutes from the airport.

Getting there by car

Take Route 402 south, then turn west towards Cherng Talay and follow signs for Laguna or Bang Tao Beach.
